I'd have to say that was one of the more fun Februaries I can remember. Couple amazing storms, solid base, stable alpine, great weather. The only truly bad snow all month was on s. facing terrain while skimo racing in CB. Everything else was chalk and pow for the whole month. No complaints.

While I got some good ski days in, this was one of the best Februaries I can remember for biking and drinking beer in the sun.

Being able to get on bigger high alpine lines in Feb is pretty nice. I was actually able to find some pretty decent conditions on some things. Not deep pow, but definitely soft, yet stable.

Its been fun here too, but I am missing the deep days we normally have this time of year. I've had a couple, but its still not the same - not having deep snow and cliffs 3-4x a week has stifled my enjoyment a bit.

you do know that the snowstake cam doesn't track the snow reporting, right? Snow stake cam is 4pm to 4pm, official report of snow is 6am to 6am.

The cam showed 2" falling from about 2:45-4pm yesterday before it dumped.

It was deep in places today at Loveland and few faceshots. I'd say a solid 4" plus double windblown on specific aspects. More wind and then sun and clearing before I left at 11ish. Forecast is for snow all day tomorrow?

I got to ride Wild Child twice in Feb....February delivers.

It's not just WP. This is pretty much the SOP at every Colorado resort that I know of.

ASSHOLES! I don't follow WP enough to know they cleared 2 measly inches off in the afternoon! STFU and find something else to discuss you mouth breathing wankers. Standard operating procedure of my dick in your mom's fat ass!

Do you guys lose sleep at night about snow reports? I don't remember the last time I even checked one. I'm either going skiing or not, and I'm sure as hell not going one place or another based on a few inches difference in snow totals. I guess I make my decisions based on different criteria.

I always check the morning report after a storm, there are good reasons to do so other than trying to figure out what mountain to ski.

I stand corrected. I know that Loveland and crested butte do it this way, pretty sure the same for copper and steamboat. Which is pretty much all the places I've skied and checked cams over the past few years. I mistakenly assumed that other resorts did it the same way, my bad.

I kinda obsess over it when hitting the BC. I wouldn't say loose sleep but It's about the first thing I do when I wake up (plus it gives me an excuses to continue lying in bed). My biggest fear in life is not going to the place with the most snow. When resort skiing we almost never change plans based on snow totals, but will if there's a significant difference.

I regularly hope that Vail or Breck reports double digits so that everyone will go there. And by everyone I mean everyone but me.

My driveway had 2' of wind drifts in it last night when I got home.. fortunately they were still soft, and easy to plow.

my deck had 4" on it.
    Backyard skiing was plenty soft.
