Skeptical. Not much of anything in the whole valley, it was full on raining in Basalt this afternoon.

Gonna go put on my optimistic pants....

Will be interesting to see if the wind direction changes to NW tonight/tomorrow...some think it will, some don't.

Currently a white out in Aspen... better late than never. Radar looks good, let's hope it stacks up tonight

Winds just picked up and shut down the snow hose. Guessing that means the dreaded shift to the nw

In the shorter term, my understanding is that it will get light out, then dark again.

Looking good around here. i-70 cams don't seem to show a ton of people headed this way either.
Last night saw the announcement stating enforcement of snow tires, chains, and or awd on giant
cdot billboard. looks like they may be enforcing that on i-70

very legit 12 inches or more in town brek, the reality is 2-3 ft deep snow in places and nothing in others thanks to the mega wind, my wind gage is covered in snow so I can't get a speed number, constant gust of 20mph hr or more, prolly not too many chairs will be open this morning, enjoy the lines

I guess it was. I didn't read the link and was under the impression this was yesterday since the OP said "yesterday"

Today delivered......wasn't even that windy. Caught first chair and did E Chair/SuperConnect laps before t-bar. T-bar opened at ~9:40 with very little avi mitigation results in Horseshoe. Cucumber offered up waist deep turns of blower snow. Still smiling......

Highlands was money, my best run of the young season down G3... untracked, bottomless, steep, deep

Vail great again. Few great first tracks in the bowls in the morning, got tracked out quickly though (still good). Lift Lines sucked. Went over to bluesky for the past 3 hours and it was great off of Earl's and the trees skiers left off Skyline were fantastic. Easy 15+ inches in there. No lines last third of the day either. Protests delivered as well

Went over loveland pass on the way back, was snowing pretty hard.
