East face at Steamboat filled in better than we expected. Good to get into steeper lift served terrain again.

Now off to the great barren flatlands of the northeast until 2016. Have fun all

Leeward faces at Vail are skiing quite nicely this morning. Nobody is out back and Genghis and red square are $

Chutes at Boat were real surfy today thanks to the windloading. 6 reported but skied like a foot. Another storm day tomorrow, hoping this one is even better than last week. A-game time.

    bring it.
wish the warm waves would stop. Continental Divide was strange, but deep.

Really hoping that the storm tonight/tomorrow delivers for CB, but still pretty worried about lack of snow. Found a last minute deal on a place in Vail and contemplating bailing on CB.

Vail/Beav for next week or CB/Monarch?

I think CB is the call. Even without a ton of terrain, small crowds, amazing backcountry, and an awesome town. Go have fun!

lets see vail/bc jacked their room rates way up for the holidays, thinking it's vail everyone will pay to be here, right now they are not full and 8% below last years numbers, so now they are chopping room rates to fill em up because someone screwed up and got cocky

I'd stick with cb or even hit monarch, snow may be not A+ but you'll have a nice relaxing time instead of having to share everything with the I70 scum and every gaper from texas and kansas

Decent snow at Vail, but a wolf creek trip might be in order

Dense wet stuff in boat. Fun, still surfy, but it's too warm out. Good for base. Was better quality yesterday and last week but the moisture is good nonetheless and it's still coming down. Hope it gets colder again though. Headed up the pass manana.

Solid day at ABasin, first run of Pali Face this season was full of faceshots. Snowed hard most of the day.

At least anecdotally, downtown Denver has been fairly deserted this week. I've got to imagine that will alleviate any negative impacts from a storm.

On another note - anyone been skiing in the park lately? Thinking of some Christmas Eve laps at HV.

I'm still optimistic, but we've been burned by storms like this before.
