My butthurt now exists solely for the fact that I don't have a functional mountain bicycle at the moment. Maybe I'll go climb a mountain this week. All aboard the butthurt pattern change in two weeks Saban dry CPC butthurt express!

Snowmass was good Friday, but high winds stripped, polished, and sastrugied the place Sunday. Unfavored spots were bulletproof. The Knob had the best conditions and that was bushy and wind packed.

Gonna try it again today with this 1" refresher but we may split to Ajax.

Love it when "maybe a dusting" turns into 4-5". Should be a fairly fun morning.

We're all in trouble.... Bama plays Mizzou this weekend, and there's virtually no shot of an upset. We're looking at the first week of January before there's a realistic chance of the Saban Express getting derailed.

Probably best to just write off the season at this point. Again.

We need it bad down in the San Juans. Seems like nobody is really sure what's going to happen with this one. Hoping for the best.

It'll snow again but it does look high and dry for a warm for a couple of weeks.

I'm expecting a good storm to kick up for the I-70 resorts right around Dec 19/20.

what's the deal with all this moisture from CA? Only hitting the San Juans?

On a side note, who's skiing the best right now? Vail, BC, Breck, Keystone or AB?

Probably Breck with the TBar open - AB if Breck is crowded though (often). Vail's bowls were good too, but doesn't look like it'll get warm enough for them to soften much? Hard to say.

It's bringing a lot of warm air with it, I70 stuff might get some snow and San Juan stuff should get some snow but the snow levels aren't ideal because of the warm air.

I heard Horseshoe Bowl was still skiing well today, with the exception of Humbug area. Could be worth poking around E Chair terrain as well since the sun doesn't hit it right now. Unfortunately, that's a long lap since E Chair itself isn't spinning. Keeps the terrain from getting too beat up though.

Settle in....aside from a couple of very small events, nothing on the horizon for a couple more weeks. That being said, Nov looked like a bust until it wasn't.
