Everyone PM Rontele and let him know you care.
I didn't believe in reincarnation when I was your age either.
Surprised to see 9" on the CB powcam this morning, given the unfavorable wind direction. Hope it keeps up
Nice 6"....11 and 7 are open. Happy Thanksgiving!

Ouzo was very nice this morning. Off and on snow squalls at Vail.
I have more skis and bikes than Facebook friends.
Good times at Copper. Timberline & most of the runs off Excelerator are all open. Saw Patrol doing work on Sierra and in Spaulding.
Storm is hitting the Cottonwoods hard! Lots of moisture still coming our way...
Skinned sams knob at snowmass today. Was pretty good top to bottom with 4-6" new. Never clipped a rock even. Comparing it to the prior few years, a decent amount should open up next wknd. There's a lot of snow up there. Good times!

formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
It hammered at Vail this afternoon and was wicked windy. Super fun day. My back is trashed.

Vail skied incredibly well, especially given its only November 23rd. Hammered off and on (mostly on) all day.
Was dumping on West side of VP as we were driving back at 4pm. Snowing on the East side too, but not nearly as hard.

^^^^Best username ever.
Fun weekend, Ajax is skiing great. I can barely walk.
Copper didn't suck today, it's really starting to feel like ski season. Can't complain about the extended Indian Summer followed by plenty of snow.

It was my second day of the season and we almost slept in instead of skiing. Left Boulder at 8:30, got to Vail and found free parking at 10:30. Found untracked snow all the way to the closing of Game Creek. Northwoods skied well, but a favorite little stash in Game Creek was deep all day.
Amazing conditions for early season- not a single core shot and actually got a couple face shots...on day two of my season!
Noticed Keystone has the whole Outback open...did anyone go back there? How thin?
Rode there on Saturday, but didn't make it back to the outback. Heard it was thin. There was a bunch of stuff on the frontside that was open too. Totally out of character for Keystone. Was good for the first few hours, but got really thin and scraped off later. The masses did a good job packing everything down. And there goes my annual trip to the Stone.
Keystone is almost never good. The most fun I've ever had there was when they used to do the 36 hours of Keystone back in the day. The skiing was mediocre, but it was fun.
It is just never worth it compared to A Basin or LL or any other mountain within 3 hours, except Eldora. I'd ski Keystone over Eldora, but that's it.
19" in 48 hours at Steamboat summit. Keep it coming!
I think they did the same thing last year...opened the Outback way before North Peak. Was hoping maybe they got a ton more back there compared to the front.
Kevo, agree, but this time of year, I find myself at Keystone b/c it's easy to get on the slopes compared to Breck/Vail (free parking + walk to lift) and has longer runs than ABasin. There's only so many times I can do Lenewee Parks & Dercum Gulch at ABasin...once more opens, then yeah, no brainer.
Heading to CO in a couple weeks for some early season turns with some bros. We're crashing at a condo in Granby and plan to ski WP. Wondering if it would be worth it to make a day trip to Steamboat to add some variety. Do the conditions generally vary much between the two? What is the road like between Granby and Steamboat (hairy in a storm)? Too much for a day trip? Thanks
