    And so it begins....

A MOISTURE LADEN WEATHER SYSTEM WILL MOVE OVER COLORADO TODAY AND
TONIGHT...PRODUCING PRECIPITATION ACROSS MUCH OF THE STATE. OVER
THE CENTRAL COLORADO MOUNTAINS...INCLUDING SUMMIT AND NORTHERN
PARK COUNTIES...TEMPERATURES WILL BE COLD ENOUGH FOR THE
PRECIPITATION TO FALL AS SNOW. SNOW LEVELS WILL START QUITE HIGH
    THIS AFTERNOON...BETWEEN 11 THOUSAND AND 12 THOUSAND FEET...BUT
WILL FALL OVERNIGHT TO AS LOW AS 9 THOUSAND FEET. MODERATE TO
HEAVY SNOWFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT...WITH THE HEAVIEST SNOW
    ACCUMULATIONS ABOVE 10 THOUSAND FEET.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...4 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW ARE EXPECTED AT
ELEVATIONS ABOVE 10 THOUSAND FEET. LOCATIONS BELOW 10 THOUSAND
FEET SHOULD SEE LESS THAN 3 INCHES OF NEW SNOW.

Aspens are stellar right now in Telluride. Dallas Divide is rivaling the variety of colors you would see in the northeast.
