Snow line was in the 9600' range this am.. burned off of Buttermilk already. I'd have to imagine Montezuma Basin is silky now...

Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
Snowing in town in Aspen as we speak.
the weather channel's website has one nice looking storm moving across I-70 and turning into snow about 6pm in Breckenridge. Breckenridge will love it, any construction on i70 wont.

Hopefully it keeps on dumping or warms up and melts it all so we don't hear about any more avalanches. It's been a rough start to the snow year.

Looks warm for a week plus, should have a real strong melt.

I'm down south, just went thru Silverton, not that much snow. I certainly wouldn't ski, but happens every year, flatlanders get awfully excited. Don't break your wrists.
Funny you think its the flatlanders. Do a little hike in summer and know whats under the snow. Find the grassy windloaded zones = pre season powdays.

Looks like pretty mild weather for a bit longer. Cant complain too much about it. Still easy to cruise on the trails here and my summer treks were cut down with the new arrival. Just switched to 4 10's so trying to make up time before the snow really flys.
Friday in Glacier Gorge, a little breeze and all the elk people flooding Moraine Park kept the trail pretty empty for how nice it was
