Was snowing in the city when I left but quickly cleared out as I climbed. Light snow at the tunnel and on VP.

Stay positive they'll be some good somewhere, just not everywhere.

CB had about 2" before they cleared at 4pm today, and now about 3" with God knows what blocking the inch marks!

    Monarch might good tomorrow.

I'm headed to Monarch for the weekend. If anyone wants to tour on Saturday hit me up. I'll being skiing inbounds for sure on Sunday. I have some good bourbon so stop by if you're camping in the lot. Gray Ranger with popup. You can't miss me, I'm channeling the GSA in a big blue fartsack.

Nearly pulled the trigger this morning, Decided to be responsible and work on client projects with impending deadlines. I'm already regretting that decision.

Might be headed down tomorrow with N1CK.
The older I get, the faster I was.

    Punch it, Chewie.

    Damn he seems cool.

Something is broken over there. There is at least 6" at the base. Their measurements have been off for weeks.

when i can go hike the bowl at 1:45pm on president's day, arrive to a deserted ski area that reported 3", and ski shin deep untracked pow almost the entire way down, i'm a-ok with them sand bagging the totals.

How is it that Sunlight has a 24hr live feed of their snow stake yet Aspen can't even report the correct snow totals? Pretty incredible for a "world class" resort. Their snow reports have been wrong several times this year not just under reported. I don't hardly trust the numbers on the website and often call the snowphone to confirm. Its pathetic. They don't even answer my emails and their website is shit.

Completely agree. Apparently, they have hired a new company to redesign the site, but it's not gonna be done for a little while.

2-4" in rmnp seemed about right this morning. Snowing lightly but steadily. Another 2-4" could fall if it keeps up. Here's some shots from Mario's gulley in the terrain park.

How does website design have anything to do with reporting snowfall?
