@EdgeLinkJohn
still coming down in aspen.
condolences to summit county but it sounds like you guys will at least get something later today once the flow comes around
I think i will keep the live traffic camera on the computer screen today. Just for entertainment...
Just started snowing again in Breck, so maybe we can squeak a few inches out of this today.
Old's Cool.
Delayed snowfal doesn't do much for a powder day - gets skied out as it comes down, but at least it'll help with terrain openings and base depth.

The snow is up near the top of the pow cam at Irwin, near 20 inches? Still awaiting their snow report.
Summit/Eagle mags, the goods are on the way, the Gratz has spoken:
As I wrote last night, the storm was slower than expected so there's still a good amount of snow coming this morning and midday. Locations south and west reported good totals this morning but location further east from about Vail eastward didn't see as much snow as I expected overnight because the storm was a little slower. However the good news is that the storm is far from over and snow should get heavier this morning and midday for many areas from Aspen through I-70. Winds are just now beginning to switch to the west and west-northwest and this is the prefered wind direction for the I-70 areas.
4" new here overnight and white out on top of settled 18". Wolf saying 12" in 24, Purg 10" & 7" at T-ride. Purg is opening to daily operations today with 2 lifts and 23 runs frontside, mostly fresh on groomed & 32" mid-base.

Who jinx'd this shit? Somebody get a rope!
Still coming down here in the RFV.. had anywhere from 3" to 12" on the driveway, depending on the drift.. so, yeah, it was windy. I think the right aspects could be DEEP today.

formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
yesterday was definitely the day to be out, barely snowing in summit as of now. they were blasting contest bowl like crazy yesterday, I imagine it'll be open by the weekend (or at least it should be)
Yes, sounds like it.

Well big bust for this morning, the delayed snow isn't even coming through at LL. stopped snowing around 8. Should have made it out yesterday.
Corner store junkies giving advice
Snowing bit here at copper but they only got the two inches they reported. Disappointed, but what can you do but ski?

So glad I made it out yesterday, faceshots in the morning at berthoud pass. Looks like a classic summit county donut storm. At least some places got something, which is better than nothing.
