ROLL TIDE ROLL
It would be the perfect storm, now let's go to sizzler's and get some grub.
Next week will produce for the south and maybe the front range.....we'll stay high and dry and the Tide will keep on Rolling.

Texts to MTSkier last night:
Saban is gay-fyi.Takes it up the ass with a checkered sweater and his legs crossed tightly.Gay, not God.
it's not a blow up doll, it's a life size plush doll and it's super soft.

I thought he just had Mrs. Montanaskier wear a Red Polo and Khaki pants, complete with Headset and puffed-up-guido-fro and yell at him "“I know you're going to ask me, 'What are you going to do about it?' ... And I'm going to tell you right now, I'm not sure.”
You should have been here yesterday!
next weekend head south for the big snow.
ROLL TIDE ROLL
It's too soon to be talking about where to go next weekend. JONG.

Gonna get much colder this weekend. Storm looks to split but some snow should fall, just not to hyped on a bunch.

Bama curse? Shit we dont need voodoo to keep it from snowing here. Our inland location far from any real source of moisture takes care of that. My prediction for the weekend storm? San Juans do well 12-16" in the usual places. Up north maybe 8" around Vail and places east of the divide like the love and Bert will be lucky to see 6" (wind loading doesnt count). Remember this is Colorado we're talking about and you must consider murphys law in all forecasts: if it can go wrong, it will. I hate to be so jaded, but reality suggests it just doesnt snow in big amounts around here. Sometimes we get lucky and get 4-6" for 3days straight but thats the exception and not the rule for the I-70 corridor. So lets hope we get some wind or something cause these southern storms have a tendancy to be nothing short of dissappointing for us up north. And hell, no one down there is even open yet so all this system is going to do is lay down a nice layer of future facets. Yay instability!
No, last season, the current persistent dry pattern, and reality did. Whos ready for another sub 300" season along the I-70 corridor? I figure if I dont set my expextations high I cant be disappointed right? Hooray for interior aridity!
Oh, and go Ducks! Quack quack ya'll
Its more complecated than that. I moved here knowing just about anywhere else gets more snow, but no where else sees as much touritst traffic or has the tipping culture on lessons that we do here. Its about the only place in the country you can get by ski bumming if you do it right. But shit its frustrating to watch big storms hit other locales (having lived in a few of them) only to watch ours fizzle and fade. In the end it is what it is.
