I hope the mountains aren't seeing the wind that we are having in the foothills right now. Worst wind ever in Evergreen. Snow blowing everywhere, wrecks all over the place, just awful.

Those are the days that the other side of the divide is usually getting that lovely NW flow hammering. That big, low cloud over the divide visible from town, and windy down in the foothills/Front Range = checking the snow report for tomorrow...

oh we're definitely getting it up here. driving from frisco to breck, lots of people stopping in the middle of the road because of wind drifts causing zero visibility.

Drove out to Steamboat today from Summit County. 3+ feet in the last 2 days and it's been snowing all day and continuing now at 10:30pm. Should be another 12" by tomorrow morning. Stoked to be here. First powder day post ACL surgery. I'll ski as long as I can.

normally get one of these a year where Vail gets a good # but very little at the Beav. Just a skiff to an inch on the valley floor. Go get it boys and girls.

Yeah Powderhorn was awesome yesterday. 19" of blower and bluebird skies, it doesn't get any better! Seriously straight out of a dream except with a lot more people skiing my runs!

And the drive to the area was a total shit show. We saw atleast 3 rollovers on I-70 with a few more people in the ditch.

I keep hoping, but Loveland continues to only squeeze and inch or two out of these storms. Maybe tonight into tomorrow will be kinder to the Love. I'll be up there tomorrow to get after whatever I may find.

I am in the same spot as you. The Love hasn't gotten any love lately. Wish I could have been in Steamboat, but I couldn't swing it after a Wolf Creek trip last week. I'll be at Loveland tomorrow for deeper or for naught.

Heard the 11" reported was more like 3-4".

I didn't get up this morning, virtually no snow on hte valley floor and was 33 degrees at 8am so I just went to work. Tomorrow is a different story.

CAIC has a pretty bullish forecast of 5-10" for tonight.

That's just what I wanted to hear. Couldn't get out there today, but tomorrow should be really nice with some more on top of that (anti-jinx).
