Well... the anti-jinx worked for the Giants, so hopefully it will work for the part of the state that needs the snow.

I did, especially considering that she said was off the next 4 days. But I'll see her again... perhaps while wearing Old Fred instead.

The next three storms - Wed night, Sunday, Tuesday - all have hints of dropping south of Colorado. Still think west of the divide will get snow from all three, but best snow looks to be in the San Juans again. Next Thursday's storm might be able to stay far enough north to bring better snow to northern Colorado, but that's a ways out. The good news is that general western troughiness will hang out for the next 7-10 days, so hopefully other areas of the state that haven't seen a ton of snow will get lucky!

PM me if it goes down, I have lines in mind that I have been looking at for about 30 years. AND I am not stuck working all week long like the last upslope.

Was on Vail pass again today, 12 amazing runs with Vail powder guides. 6+ on the ridges and over boot to mid calf easy on all the tree runs. Soft.... Mmmm like last year. Saw some natural activity on Ptarmigan and Boss. A few whoompfs in the low angle trees yesterday. Clouds moved up from the sw about 1 pm and by 2 light got flat and stuck to the trees, snowing hard by 4, the pass had about an inch on it, came out of Sushi bar at 8 to 2" of wet on the car, Still going pretty good in Avon at 10 pm. Called United and got no charge change till Saturday. Anyone going up Vail inthe a.m.?

As aweful as the forecast looked 10 days ago, we've still managed to scrape together 10" in the first 8 days of the month, despite completely missing the 50" dump Echo Mt got.

Sunday in the southern San Juans. Be there.
Or Monday morning for I-70 down through Aspen and CB.

For once, Echo Mt. may not win this upcoming storm...

still looks like the southern zones are gonna get the most. I have hopes that an already moist and somewhat unstable airmass will let the SW winds get snow going more than usual. I also hope that next Thursday is good for the north.

had a ton of fun at breck today. absolutely puked snow up top all day, easily 10 inches in a lot of spots. Also a good amount of wind so contest/horeshoe bowl kept refilling and I was skiing fresh in an area I made tracks in earlier in the day, so sick.

Roger that, got refills all day in the back at Vail, no lines. Smoked Northwoods in like 25 seconds first run with only 2 sets of tracks on it, about 7" Good times.
