Dusting of snow this am!

bout an inch in frisco. a nice moderate snow with no wind, I can dig it

My wife said there is a dusting in dillon as well this morning.

Things could be nice by afternoon or early tomorrow. Decent moisture, decent storm track, decent wind direction until about midnight. I'm not holding my breath, but the last few turns today or the first few turns Sunday could be quite nice.

Skipping the ankle shots and heading to Vail for a beerfest. Knee deep in +7% beers today bitches!

that beerfest is epic Shred...take care, those beers don't play. I saw a guy drinking out of a broken glass a couple of years ago, bloody mouth and all.

About 2" at the Beav this morning and snowing pretty good up high and light snow on the valley floor. Amazing how just a little snow makes everyone feel better, lots of smiles this morning. Felt good to have some soft snow under my skis this morning.

Some of the biggest flakes I've ever seen coming down in Denver. Hope it's the same type of production in the high country. Maybe some backcountry Sunday/Monday if anyone is interested.

snow in the valley here has let up, just flurries from time to time. I'll say 4" on the morning report. Should make for some soft groomers for a change.

still snowing steady here in CB...looks like i-70 is a mess right now, westbound closed near floyd hill, ouch.

Fun skiing soft snow at the resort again. About 4-5" at Vail and snowing when I left at 3. Under 4 skied really well, dropped a few minor ones off the band, even got a faceshot on a slash, untouched old stuff. Did some bump skiing and ripped some crudded up groomers. There's a super fun boost right now on Christmas with a little gap divot, but you have to hit it FAST to make it.

Really fun day at the resort. Should be good tomorrow. Oh and crapload of knuckledraggers butt sliding down Pepis, scraping off the fresh. WTF! Was funny to watch the carnage coming down. Super icy underneath, full run slides and yardsales galore. Went down it and it was def survival skiing, just point em! Like skiing 4" on top of glacial ice. PowTron - probably like your AK trip. Haha

My wife said she had grouse mtn to herself. She said about 6" and still snowing when she left at 4.

5 inches in frisco, probably around 4 or 5 at breck for closing time. tomorrow might be pretty fun, was glad to ski soft snow again today...

talked to patrol and Grouse has been seeing about 45 skiers a day...total, so I believe that. I skied Grouse early this morning and it had to myself too....still VERY rocky on anthing not groomed or where there is no snowmaking. Still feels soooo good just to see some new snow again. The resort should report 6 or maybe 7 tomorrow as it started back up and has snowed pretty good this evening.

Warms up on Mon and Tues before another splitter flows thru on Wed then sunny and warm again for the end of the week. Hopefully we can at least get a few more of these little storms......jst makes everyone feel better.

Rock, I saw way to many people today pulling their new skis off mid run to check the damage.

Thanks. I would be a bit bent if they got chewed on the first day. My rocks are still fun.
