    Last Page

The 2nd to last page is actually the last page. If this happens to you then there are no more pages. For some reason it shows that there is another page when there is not. This has been brought up and I thought that it was resolved but I guess not.

There is nothing wrong with your computer nor is there another page that you are not seeing.

lots of critters seem to be active this week. Lots of what seems to be an increase in food gathering....I smell an early storm.

I heard 2 to 4 inches on the news this morning. Hopefully this gives LL a jump start on snowmaking.

Just saw the first plow truck coming down from the pass. Fitting for the last day of summer.

Snowed all day in idaho, not much accumulation though. Big fat flakes, it was very calming.

6-12 as of 4:30 this morning. From NOAA:

......EARLY SEASON STORM MAY BRING HEAVY SNOW TO THE
MOUNTAINS...FOOTHILLS AND PALMER DIVIDE LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
    WEDNESDAY...

.AN EARLY SEASON STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP OVER WESTERN KANSAS AND THEN
REMAIN NEARLY STATIONARY THROUGH WEDNESDAY. MOIST UPSLOPE FLOW
WILL DEVELOP IN THE MOUNTAINS...FOOTHILLS AND OVER THE PALMER
DIVIDE LATE TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY AND MAY ALLOW FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF HEAVY SNOW ABOVE 6500 FEET.

SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT IN THE MOUNTAINS...FOOTHILLS AND
OVER THE PALMER DIVIDE AND CONTINUE THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON.
SNOW MAY BECOME HEAVY AT TIMES. SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS BY LATE
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON MAY RANGE FROM 6 TO 12 INCHES. NORTH WINDS OF
10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH MAY CAUSE REDUCED VISIBILITES AT
TIMES DUE TO BLOWING SNOW ESPECIALLY OVER THE PALMER DIVIDE.

Nice find from the Never Summer SNOTEL. (http://www.wcc.nrcs.usda.gov/nwcc/sn...ays=7&state=CO)

That's a pretty light density if it's accurate (SNOTELs can be hit or miss, I've heard).

Of the 12 highest snow totals along the Front Range on Monday, the average density was about 10%, or 10:1 ratio, which is about average for a warm storm. The lightest density of was 6.5% near Black Hawk and the heaviest density of 15.5% was down near Lake George west of Colo Springs.

This is a good resource, at least for areas where people live (i.e. not mountain tops):

Not really. Does "jet stream" mean anything to you?

Conifer area was the big winner with about 10". I think the high peaks above say 12k got a good bit in certain areas....maybe a foot or more in some high peaks.
