    yeah that drives me too... especially when I hear people complaining during winter. I saw the dust layer on Buffalo and all over a basin when I was up there friday. The sun needs to go away for awhile

    doesn't have anything to do with skiing or keeping the snow for us skiers. Just about water and the need for said water in August.

    Yo, it's almost May. It's park season which =sunny and warm.

    If you don't like park, buy a kayak.

    Winter=DONE. See ya next year!

    ^haha the truth. In more positive news, although slightly off topic (and I apologize). Apparently, this April has been the wettest april (almost 6 inches of precip.) In a decade in Boulder!

    So right now the NWS weather report for Keystone is rain and snow highs 40-50 Saturday and Sunday. Looking in the crystal ball, would you guess Saturday or Sunday will be a better day at A-Basin?? If it's raining, there's no way I'd drive all the way over there, but for sun, snow, or corn would be nice to escape work/mundane shit for one weekend day if possible...

    Bummer! From the report it does look like house cleaning weather this weekend
    (I'm not much for going out in the rain, only "S" weather get's me stoked, Sun or Snow)

    PS. What could be better than cruising Mozart on a good icy day

    Don't worry I can barely motivate to drive an hour to A-Basin (living less than 15 minutes from Vail/Beav), it would take something special to make me ski Keystone again...

    Looking at this graphic, it looks like it should be windy up on ridges and peaks?

    Current Conditions on Western slopes in the park (RMNP)? Thinking about on heading out for Keplinger's in the morning I'd hate to slog all the way out there from Wild basin and find it to be a no go.
