I'm wagering tom will approach epic, not fairly good Temps tom will stay in high teens, low 20's where it counts with sun. Per bud in Vail back bowls, currently in the single digits, white out conditions, 5+" since 815am, and winds are filling in tracks within 30mins. Projecting 8-12 for today on top of 8 that already fell. Hit the sun exposed areas early as precaution, seek and destroy the usual dry blower suspects after 1030am if she gets a little heavy. Be there tom with the lady... tall, red/maroon shell, black helmet on Movement Goliath neon yellow 191's.

Looks like the bulk of the snow will fall between now and 3pm, with about 3" expected afterwards and into the morning. The 30mph gusts will probably help though.

definately windy, even down n the valley. The tracks from the car to my house are filled in as are the dog tracks. Looks like the winds are out of the west right now, might begin to focus strictly on the Vail end of the county. Breaks in the clouds in Eagle Vail but mountains still socked in. Make sure you all take your cameras.

Went bluebird around noon. Still windy as shit down low. No idea what BSB is doing, some clouds lingering back that way.

edit: Alta got 22", wow...those guys suck.

It snowed 14" here down to town. Best in-bounds day since X-games and the backcountry wasn't bad either.

BSB opened today. Everything was eventually open. Probably not quite as beat as on a normal opening time kind of day...but things still were pretty hammered at the closing bell, and it stopped snowing early afternoon. The bc (safely, of course) is probably the place to be tomorrow...

Nice spring weather for the next period. Moisture and some chance for snow Thur-Fri, but a really warm flow will mean high snow levels and most moisture will stay in the San Juans. Next week looks sunny and warm...temps may climb into the 60s before the next chance of cold and snow roll in next weekend.

Only guy on a pair of RD Helidogs

Otherwise, Sequel jacket, grey helmet, white goggles (like that helps).

I plan on being there about 8:15... silver Outback w/ a lifted ski rack.

Ok, so there is nothing on the doppler west of Summit County today, but tomorrow the projected weather is pretty doppler colors everywhere? Anyone with predictions for tomorrow? I might have to skip work if Loveland is going to get snow.
