Definitely still a little boney. Winds were ripping yesterday. It's skiable, but you'll find the sharks for sure

Watched a fella skin directly up the kitchen wall & crawl over the cornice, all to ski the professor. No harm done, but raised some eyebrows!

It was. But it was good too. My visit to the county was more fun than my freezing cold desert trip!

Who knows? There's an army of volunteer stability testers these days.

Saw this one today, CAIC says it was yesterday PM http://avalanche.state.co.us/caic/ob...p?obs_id=36543 , it resulted in a search and rescue callout.

Hard to tell from the pics, but there is a deep terrain trap at the bottom. It's a popular 'tabletop' type jump and it appears to have filled. Like most of the slopes on the side of the road, this one has a history.

Found some nice low angle pow in the park today. Still very thin though. Click image for larger version.

Good couple of days at vail. The small amounts each night added up to keep everything soft. Pretty cold today, 5 degrees on the hill.

I'd guess some stuff is close....the north facing stuff off of 17, and 21 is probably good to go and I'm sure BSB has a lot of ️snow waiting.

The Beav was great this morning. Boot deep cold smoke!

Will confirm that Vail is really good today. The fact it's Monday and cold has kept the place quiet. Zero degrees at the top.

I thought 5 and 17 could've opened last week. Patrol did some blasting in BSB today and lots of backside lifts ran.
