Poor, sad, flatland transplants, 9 to 5, frontstrangers. Snowed for two straight days in and around the western slope, got some moisture for sure. Praise Jeebus.

The deep skiing at Loveland happened yesterday on Chair 1 and N and S aspects off 2 and 4. You missed it bro. Should have gone to A-Basin today.
Pretty much this, but the ridge had a few good slots if you knew where to look. And it doesn't have to be deep to be awesome. Fast smooth alpine cream is awesome in my book. Checked out once the cream was scraped clean and then found the deep on the pass. As busy as it was up there, I think most kept skiing right down the gut all day. Surprising amounts of untracked.

How about some weather discussion? Wind switch to NW happened early than expected. Squalling all day at Jones Pass.
awww come one just because you've been killing it all season long while everyone else has been complaining about lift lines, lack of snow, traffic, crowds, bad snow, can't ride their mountain bike because it's snowing, cause there was a patch of ice on their last run, the excuses pile up like there is no tomorrow huh?

Cdot couldn't bring a 4wd truck up and at least tow that boat off to the shoulder? Heck, if I was there I would have done it. Actually I probably wouldn't have, keeps the number of people on the pow down.

That's what I thought - also help the 2 semis, 3 2wd cars, pickup with horsetrailer that also made up the Georgetown Gauntlet. Instead CSP just placed cars at the nearby exit to block anymore traffic getting on...

Got drunk as fuck last night so I slept in hella late this morning. Woke up around 11 and breezed up I70. Parked in a spot right next to Pali and was on the mountain by 1.

Talked to someone who told me that they woke up early, drove I70 and dealt with the cluster fuck this morning, got to the pass and the pass was closed. Drove all the way around to the basin only to find out that parking was full and they needed to go back to keystone. Said they waited 20 minutes for a bus up to the basin. Apparently he only made it into the mountain an hour earlier than me. I wanted to laugh, but felt too bad.

Awesome skiing and tons of untracked in the Zuma trees. One of my better days this season.

Scary amounts of gapers on Loveland pass today. Scary
Wait. Really? You're another one. You dish out shit from your cube like you're core, but, you get to the mountain at 1pm on one of the first powder Saturdays in weeks, and seem to be proud of it. Of course you didn't ski Friday. Stuck in your little cube wasting your employers time checking webcams?

You have a drinking problem, gaper.

Lmao! Even gone from colorado you are dishing out the hate.

I skied plenty of pow this winter. Skied plenty of pow yesterday at the basin, and even a few face shots. I wouldn't consider avoiding the I70 clusterfuck a gaper thing, especially since I still managed to ski pow while avoiding the traffic and mess in the parking lots.

Admit it , you are just jealous that as soon as you got injured and left colorado, it started snowing again. I told you several times that April is one of the best months in Colorado, and you didn't believe me

Christ, the bullshit is leaking out of your ears.

I'm most skeptical that you got into the lower lot at that time, considering day of week and conditions. The only way past those gates is bribery at the second, coming from Dillon. But no way that was possible Saturday. You see, because, the people who won that lottery actually curbed their drinking for once the night before, as most people who ski powder do, and got to the lot in time. Because it hasn't been snowing since I left. I left on April 2, and that was a week into the nothing. So, the people who actually ski powder, were a little starved of their favorite activity.

At least now you're a proven cube troll.

After looking at that, the MRI shots showing my torn ACL and Lateral Meniscus almost look pleasing.

Dear god you lived in summit county for 2 months and you are already spouting off this "cube jockey" bullshit in multiple threads at multiple different people?

Lest we forget you lived the ultimate cube jockey lifestyle for years in the shithole known as the northeastern United States.... Living in the northeast is the definition of cube jockey.

Living in Boulder, on the other hand, is definitely not cube jockeying it. Once the trails dry out, I would love to take you on one of my daily singletrack rides. Too bad you are injured.

And really? You don't believe that I found a spot at 1 in the afternoon in the early riser lot? That's right about the time lots of people who skied in the morning start calling it a day.

I can't believe you are so angry that you feel the need to hate on my post about one of the better days I skied this season.

Great turns in the park this weekend, and all over CO from the sounds of it. Can't wait to see what lines have opened/re-opened up up high.

You, of all people, will show me how to live the life. That's a hoot. Sir, it's mainly because of people like you I don't want to live out there for 12 months. Imagine the scintillating conversations during happy hour.

Daily Boulder single track ride. My BS meter went to "trying too hard" .

Squals yesterday didn't do much but made it feel like winter. Snow got manky around noon. Perfect spring storm for the weekend warriors.

scoring rock star parking is a piece of cake at 1 pm at pretty much every resort. They must have left that out of Benny's locals handbook.
