It's happening now down south too. Purg showing nearly 12 inches on the stake. Silverton is sure to be killing it.

The radar is showing huge amounts of moisture getting pumped into the San Juans.

Cool how the stake tics got burned into the camera. Otherwise we wouldn't know how much there really was.

Tomorrow should be another great day to hike Vail. It's getting deeper and deeper up there.

Just observed the snow for an hour. Swept off an area on my deck that is not wind effected. Snowing 3"+/hour at 8100ft.

    S. Diamond. Couple laps on ptarmigan, then over to Pap smear/s. shoulder area. Stability was pretty damn good although it started to get almost too deep by mid afternoon. Started to send off some major sluffs, some 18"+. Hopefully doesn't get too windy.

Nice, didn't seem like there would be enough up there from what I saw Friday morning. How were the stream crossings?

Makers, that truly, truly just sucked.

I have to unhear it somehow.

Skied abasin today. Really started snowing hard around Noon and was still puking when we left. Truck had 6-7 inches on it when we got back to it around 3:30pm.

Did some controlled skiing with patrol in the Lenawee Parks area. Didn't clip any rocks and was easily thigh deep in the gullies towards the bottom.
    go upside down.
