It's been coming down pretty good all day here, but it's pretty wet, maybe 5 in. of wet snow out in the parking lot. It's really slick, 2 4x4 trucks both just got stuck outside my window.

looks like the rain/snow line is pretty close to 10k this afternoon.....in February.

This stuff should be slathering itself all over steep lines, hopefully that is a good thing.

we're gonna need some very dry air to suck all that moisture up. looking at all the precip on radar... this would be so money if it was colder. I think I'm gonna ski tomorrow, don't know where yet. I will report back on the snow conditions though

I just went outside in my boxers and yelled, "GO BACK TO WHISTLER YOU FAGGOT!!!!" at the sky. Maybe that will help.

Found 6-8" of fresh up near Indy today. Overnight, 5-6" of fluff fell, then throughout the day, a couple more inches of wet slop fell on top. Should turn back into fluff once the sun sets....
Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

I'd really like to know also what it's like higher up on the mountain. I'm not positive but it kinda seems like it's raining again at 7,800' in Eagle Vail...

It will be good before it hits the mid 40s this afternoon.

Ullr, I love wet snow. Please send more. Proof positive that Whistler/Blackcomb has the best skiing on the planet, b/c that is exactly what today felt like.

I went to Copper, the snow was light and fun for the first 2 hours and then it turned to cement. When I was skiing through the trees, it felt like it was raining because of all the snow melting

Hehehehehe, yes, a nice day on the front range is certainly better then a wet day skiing. Oh wait...

After the snow got real heavy, those wind lips were fun as hell in Enchanted Forest yesterday. I did my first rodeo, landed on my side though... the snow was so deep it didn't even matter

We tried to ski some backcountry today, but had to turn back due to 30mph sustained WSW winds with gusts to 50mph above treeline. Shitty...
