As long as the winds blow out of the NW, Eagle Cty will do fine, especially the eastern end of the Cty.

Nice that it was a Maven day. I'd love for the sun to not shine tomorrow as to not bake those aspects.

Didnt get much if anything here today. Hell it was blue sky for most of the day. Really hoping this NW flow can come through but I'm losing optimism fast. We had some decent snow this week but with the sun and relatively warm temps today it is prob pretty crusty out there right now. RMNP (Bear Lake Snotel) at 63% of average for this time of year.

^^^ storm is really digging south now it seems. Winds will start out SW then switch to NW as always. I think it's still gonna snow but limited moisture, fast moving storm, etc.... makes me not as bullish on totals. It will be crowded however, the 9News effect is already working with all their talk of the big snow for the high country. The frontage road at Vail today...on a Friday...was a junk show.

Makers...how were crowds on the hill?

Was up yesterday, and with the 2-3" yesterday and another 4" today, it should have been soft. Still too bony in the trees and steeps for my liking, took a lap down Baldy's Chute and wished I hadn't. Dust on Crust and LOTS of billy goating. 9 days is a long time away, and they could pull 2-3" a few different days in a row and it will be a lot nicer.

Thanks for the update. I assume you're referring to WP and not Jones Pass, which I imagine isn't much better. Sort of wish I wasn't stuck with a 5 day lift ticket at WP. Seems like a road trip would be in order up to Steamboat (or a half-dozen other places). Good thing it's 9 days away.

Last i checked NOAA still wasn't liking the Boat? Monarch lot was pretty full at closing, heard tracked out but still pretty nice. I'll be the all blue fatass at CB.

Damn near headed to Red River and/or Taos, been awhile.

Started snowing again as we left at 4:40, not sure it will amount to anything. Probably heading back for Sunday, which undoubtedly will not disappoint.

This thing is now a full on southern and upslope storm. A bummer but the FR needs the water.

Waist deep in Mirkwood, a bit wind fuked out of the trees, still finding fresh snow. It just started snowing again.

Bummed for the summit people. Can't catch a break this year. Liking the upslope though. We could use the moisture so bad. Thoughts on how far north and how deep the upslope will get? NOAA jumping back on board now for rmnp. Caic and Joel seem less optimistic. Hoping for some lift served tomorrow but shit, just thinking about battling i70 is making me reconsider.

^^^ Based on NOAA's recent track record (good) and Joel's (not so good), I trust the NOAA forecast these days much more.

Thoughts on Winter Park or Loveland tomorrow, with the upslope?
