Snowed heavily in Breck this morning for about an hour as the front passed, but that only amounted to about 2". Hoping we can pick up a few more......
Old's Cool.
Heavy burst at 5ish but not much since then.... Meh. On the bright side, should be an ok drive to the city around 11.

Joel posted this snowpack chart over at OpenSnow. Obviously the totals vary based on where you are in the state, but it's interesting to see that we've been consistently BELOW last year's totals so far this year. Hopefully it picks up towards the end of the year - as someone pointed out above, the total lack of snow in March and April was really the biggest bummer of last year, so with any luck there won't be a repeat.

Been coming down HARD in rifle since about 6am. Got about 4" on my porch so far and still coming. Typically snow in good ol rifle has been a good indicator of good snow to come for most western areas. Hopefully it'll make it's way over to vail valley and summit. They need it. We've actually had a decent snow winter here - have had snow on the ground since early December - no small feat during some winters around here. Selling hope!
Light snow near the Aspen Airport... 4" up on snowmass reported this am... very windy up in Missouri Heights last night. I bet a few things are nice and loaded. I wish we had a better pattern this week.

formerly an ambassador for a few others, but the ski industry is... interesting.
Fukt: a very small amount of snow.
Anyone thinking of going denver to wolf creek tonight to ski saturday?
I'd split gas and room.
Nah, I'm really kind of over it. New job has me crazy busy. In The city today and tomorrow. Helping a buddy that broke his leg last week on Sunday. Car repairs Monday Nd off to LA for a week on Tuesday. Maybe Feb will be different, maybe not...we'll just all keep hoping.

Wow. Donut hole from 15th-19th. There's always next season...
The BH is all time right now.
Loveland was just 'meh' this morning. I at least expected SOME snowfall while I was there, but nope. High winds, blowing snow, fucking cold (you know, the usual) but blue skies and not snowing when I left around 12:30.
Holy shit it's negative6F in wolf creek right now unless that's a typo or something. Predicting neg 3 for a high tomorrow.

Who's gettin' what so far? Berthoud snotel indicates 7 inches in the last 24 hours and that usually reads low... Saw a few pics from a friend that looked like 6-8 at vail this AM in places.
Franger? Siltown? Is it much harder to just say Silverton, alpha beta delta gamma pi sigma Epsilon?
We know this guy is butthurt...ooooooo. lol.
I think I'll just rally my subie tomorrow instead of ski... lots of good ice under the new snow.
The next two weeks look like total crap for everyone.
