Snowed heavily in Breck this morning for about an hour as the front passed, but that only amounted to about 2". Hoping we can pick up a few more......

Heavy burst at 5ish but not much since then.... Meh. On the bright side, should be an ok drive to the city around 11.

Joel posted this snowpack chart over at OpenSnow. Obviously the totals vary based on where you are in the state, but it's interesting to see that we've been consistently BELOW last year's totals so far this year. Hopefully it picks up towards the end of the year - as someone pointed out above, the total lack of snow in March and April was really the biggest bummer of last year, so with any luck there won't be a repeat.

Been coming down HARD in rifle since about 6am. Got about 4" on my porch so far and still coming. Typically snow in good ol rifle has been a good indicator of good snow to come for most western areas. Hopefully it'll make it's way over to vail valley and summit. They need it. We've actually had a decent snow winter here - have had snow on the ground since early December - no small feat during some winters around here. Selling hope!

I know that the days I spend the most time on PornHub seem to correspond to lack of snowfall. But it never occured to me to graph it out!

Light snow near the Aspen Airport... 4" up on snowmass reported this am... very windy up in Missouri Heights last night. I bet a few things are nice and loaded. I wish we had a better pattern this week.

Loveland was just 'meh' this morning. I at least expected SOME snowfall while I was there, but nope. High winds, blowing snow, fucking cold (you know, the usual) but blue skies and not snowing when I left around 12:30.

I was out a the luv for a day in that ball park last season and I could barely slide even with a fresh coat of cold wax. I could literally walk up the hill in spots without skins. Go broncos.
