Vail never stops cloud seeding, that's crazy to think otherwise. I say seed away

Touring in Routt and hitting a few days at the Boat in mid-January. What's the base and forecast like?

You might have the mountains of Colorado confused with some place that receives snowfall. I would suggest touring Green Mountain Open Space park in Lakewood. After this front range storm, it will have a better base than most resorts.
I have more skis and bikes than Facebook friends.

    BUTTHURT ADVISORY STILL IN EFFECT

THE UPPER BUTTHURT WILL BE NEAR OR OVER MONTANASKIER THURSDAY PROVIDING
DYNAMIC LIFT IN THAT REGION...BUT BY THEN SPECIFIC BUTTHURT WILL HAVE
DROPPED TO LESS THAN 1.25 G/KG

Absolutely hammering in Evergreen and has been for awhile. Close to a foot on the porch now.

I was planning to hit up Loveland in the morning, but if this is indication, Echo may be deeeeeep. Haven't been up there in a long time, but 2 minute powder hot laps may be the ticket for tomorrow.

well looks like we'll have to live with the 4" and 5" we got last night for awhile. Gonna be sunny and WARM for awhile now. At least the big eastern pacific ridge is moving on finally and we'll have a better shot for snow in the coming weeks. Merry Christmas weather peeps.

And 3" at Highlands. Highlands is in rough shape but the coverage is a lot better at Snowmass from my experience.
