skiing and being on ski lifts doesn;t worry me, it's being in the lodge (or sharing lifts) that does.

Yep. Had to pee yesterday. Could have held it to the lodge, went behind a tree instead. BTW, we're in a total sleeper day cycle right now. Small but wet storms ski so well on CB's steep north facing terrain.

I'll be at WP tomorrow, wondering if it will be like skiing WP on a Saturday with fresh snow in 1988 or if it will be business as usual?

If there is more than 6" it will be a shitshow. COVID-19 contraction will just be the icing on the cake!

Vail Resorts closes all 37 resorts. That had to be a brutal decision and it’s going to cost mountain communities an unreal amount of money but it’s the right call.

It will be awesome if they get some snow. Hopefully they will clarify.

If the storm early next week materializes, how many people are going to descend on the few remaining resorts that are open?

Who's going to be able to stay open in CO now? I'd be surprised if anyone was open tomorrow. Based on VR closing down, all the other resorts now have to worry about overcrowding!

jk, resorts are empty af right now

I'll be taking the snowmobile up any ski area that is USFS at it's base.

Bummer since it was skiing pretty good today. At least there is this: “Uphill Access Pass holders will be allowed to utilize Route A for uphill access during the closure.”
