No shit, Broncos should just draft him now.

Snowmass gated terrain this morning, Highland Bowl this afternoon, were both exquisite.

East facing snow now was good at 11,000+ in Indian Peaks. Getting manky but still fun down closer to 10,000. Took my Zero G 85s out for the heck of it for the first time this year. Fun to eat up vert on those things. Ultra light skis have come a loooooong way.

    In the middle.

Edit it to add: Mostly the snow is wind fucked, as usual, but where it isn't wind fucked it was still good up higher.

Ha! great idea. bi answer though.

I got Kirkwood to myself w a few others a few years ago bc I happened to drive out from Co during a huge storm cycle. had skins in my truck and power went TU. amazing couple runs, albeit low viz and I didnt know the mountain that well.

same trip I got to ski from top of gondola to town in tahoe at heavenly. can't remember name of the run but think its a rare opportunity. maybe not always open? wtf was the name of that run?

Hey now, ski test has a new home at Steamboat. After years of dealing with Utah and it’s backass ways and tracked out hills, the crew wants easy access to weed and powder. Never been there, what’s good for dispensary’s and pow stashes? What’s the scene on a powder morning? Hoping for a way mellower vibe. Will we get pow? It snows there, amiright? 2/26-3/2, if anyone wants to burn a few laps.

That’s a little late for Steamboat.
You want to be there now.
Good snow, mellow trees, but poor exposure.

A differing opinion = Steamboat has a lot of vert and really good spring skiing. Higher North facing mountains hold pow better but nothing wrong with working on your goggle tan in Routt County.

I'd say a super mellow vibe to match a pretty mellow mountain. The gondi scene can be a bit of a CF but generally that is about it.

I like Steamboat but not for its radness.

Please. Any snow is attributed to the photos in the Ullr thread. Stupid college football got nothing on ass and titties.

They didn't get it paved like they were supposed to last fall. Word is that they will open it this summer with alternating traffic while they pave it.
