Can confirm little crowds and great snow today. Can’t believe it isn’t December yet. Looks like solid chances for at least some snow thru first week or two of December.

Center Village with both lifts closed has got to be killing them. Eagle opens tomorrow, but Flyer still down.

Saw tonight that Eagle is not opening tomorrow. Electrical problem of some kind. Sucks

Last year, it would have not really been an issue. This year is a helluva time to be down.

Yup, saw that press release just after posting. Man, they are really having a rough go. In a normal season, they'd be stoked to have superB and Timberline open by now, but the early snow is making it worse. I'm sure it'll all be good in a few weeks though. Or maybe it'll be the first resort to be sold from Vail to Alterra.

Such a drag since the snow is so crazy good for Nov/Dec.

Big under report at Vail. And NW flow is still pumping with blower fat flakes.

They haven't opened much because of Birds of Prey World Cup... right now it's basically the front side and most of Rose Bowl. I think after this weekend, they'll open Larkspur, Birds of Prey, BC West, and maybe the main parts of Grouse.

They opened Goshhawk for a while. It was good for most of the runs took. Once the races started there weren’t too many people skiing at the Beav today.

-17 this morning at my house. Welcome to December.

I finally got out to The Jane yesterday afternoon. Comments:

I parked front row as I got there at 1pm but it certainly looked IKONic. At some point, all the parking was full.

Backcountry Dad is now a thing. Lots of expensive touring set ups on the beginner lifts skiing with the kids.

Nobody looks uphill before skiing anymore. I think I'm gonna start yelling "Skier's Responsibility Code #4!"

Apparently, they only have 4 cat drivers workings hence the dog shit grooming.

Plenty of off piste is open but coverage is questionable.
