Rain?.. in Dec.?.. at 9,000 ft?

It has been dumping here in the San Juans lately. Unfortunately, a fair amount of it has been in the form of rain. The town of Silverton saw rain in Dec. for the first time even old timers could remember. Right now it's 9:30 PM, 37 degrees, and raining in downtown Telluride. It has been raining all day in the valley but I'm sure it's been DUMPING up high! There might be a couple of feet up there in the morning. I'll let ya know how it was!
