    Arrow 4/21 Bird Report

Much like Tuesday, Wednesday morning was filled with fresh pow. I'd say about 10 to 12 up top, with 4 to 6 on the lower mountain. Visibility was near nothing early on - it was all clouds but not snowing. My first couple of laps were decent. I met up with hardrider and Re for lap two through hanging bowl. It wasn't completely untracked, but it was still good. At the bottom, we lost Re but picked up phUnk and Arty. phUnk didn't come close to first tram.

The next two laps were sick. We dropped off the Gad side of the Cirque traverse and got some sick freshies. hardrider said the snow was Kirkwood blower. I told him it's dense Utah cream. Either way, it certainly didn't suck.

Next tram ride up, Baldy isn't mentioned in the list of closed areas. Hmmm, where should we go? Two sweet Baldy laps capped the day for phUnk and I. A lot of people were heading out there, but we still scored the goods on run two. I love skiing smooth, fresh pow. It looks like this week might be the last of the pow for the season, so I'll be sure get after tomorrow as well. It was a lot of fun skiing with the maggots today. Those of you that missed out, stay home again tomorrow so I can ski more fresh pow.

When I saw phUnk post that he would be on first tram, I quicky got going to ensure he would not be the only Maggot there early. Nope, I was the only Maggot on first tram. This morning was a gift for sure.

Gotta agree with Z, Baldy was even more .

7 tram laps and back to work by 1230.....

See everyone at 0830 tommorow morning on the tram deck. I'll be the one looking like this -
"People blame me because these water mains break, but I ask you, if the
water mains didn't break, would it be my responsibility to fix them then?
    WOULD IT!?!"

O.K. - I am officially jealous for the first time in awhile. Enjoy the goods; I am not.

Ahhhh, what to do, what to do.

I really, really want to just don't know if I can swing it.

Here's the day tomorrow, in reverse order:

Leaving for Moab at 10 pm, from Provo
Arriving to work at 1 pm, obviously in Provo

Main thing is, don't want to have skis, ski stuff with me in Moab, I guess I could leave that in flyks car as he meets me in Provo, or leave it with another fellow maggot who is also leaving the bird at noon, have no idea who that would be at this point.

okay fukk it, I can pack tonight, my bike is on top of my car at the bird, food for Moab is in my car, uh, okay, 8:30 it is.

Please, please don't quote any of this as there is very likely something that will come up.

    There's another website?

It's ok, I'm meeting Frizzo and this "friend" at his house at 8:00am. If he's the same guy from the "gay porn" thread, I'll be very worried....

I knew you weren't ready to leave

    Ears full, mouth full,
But why so long that reprieve?

    Flying, dropping, there's no stopping,
this is what I've waited for

Awww, whatever the reason, it's all forgiven,
    Cuz I'm alive once more.

im sitting here in ny after just getting off the redeye back from vegas.. where i "learned" (or apparently didnt learn) how to play craps.. amongst other things like work. unfortunately, my luck at the craps table is directly proportional to my ability to come to utah this weekend. soooo.. get some for me! with this bunch of miscreants on the hill, im sure there will be nothing fresh left by sat anyways!
