    k2 seth size

I'm currently riding 183 gotamas and they are absolutely perfect size..

I'm not really sure whether to get the seth's in 179 or 189

Do they ski long/short? what do you guys think

gotamas tend to ski shorter from what i've heard. the 179 is probably more similar to the 183 than 189 would be. having said that it depends what you want the ski for. no reason not to go longer for a big mountain ski and keep the 183s around for everyday use. also if the 183 gotama is "perfect" why not buy another one...

In terms of physical size, my 189 Seths are probably 4 cm longer than my 190 Gotamas. I have a really hard time fitting the Seths in my ski bag

Seths/Ak enemy's ski LONG. Stick with the 179.

I'd say even with the new mini-rocker these would ski a good deal longer than the shorter gots.

Thirded. If you like the 183 goat, the 179 seth is for you. The 189 is a pretty big ski.

    Yup 179

The 189 are a long ski. Way bigger then my 183 Mantras. 179 are almost identical in length to the 183 mantras(measured side by side this year)

a 179 Seth is the same length as the 183 gotama.

I own the gotama and have skied both the 179 and 189 seth. I feel I could go with either seth (I think my gotama are tad short at speed) but comparing the 179 seth the gotama IMO the gotama is more stable on edge on hardpack, floats powder better, and bust crud way better. The seth feel slight quicker on groomer, bumps and trees though but throw some deep snow in the trees and I think the gotama preforms better.

I prefer the gotama, but the seth isnt a bad skis you cant go wrong with either.

i would also say 179 on the seth.

my 189's are a good deal bigger than my new 190 katanas. some of that has to do with the bigger tips but even running length is notably longer, maybe 4-5cm.

agree with others in thinking that maybe you should look for something different as the gotama and the seth fill as similar slot in the quiver. hell even my katana and seth are pretty close, only about 10mm width difference.
