Saturday at Loveland is also the annual Corn Harvest CAIC fundraiser. Register in the morning inside the lodge. $20 gets you some free beer and bbq. There's also going to be shwag giveaways. All proceeds go to CAIC who give us the information to keep us safe all season.

(damn. seems like I've been working good causes on TGR all winter! feels good)

I'll be there lapping 9 as the weather allows, and probably pound some bumps on 1 in the afternoon. I'll try to be at 1 @ 10:00 but killer conditions will take precedence over meeting a bunch of Internet dorks.

The company and fun vibe is what it's all about!

Skiing is just a conversation piece.

    You obviously "get it".

I'll be putting out the vibe in the lodge with my freshly purchased mink coat. You'd best recognize!

What were you planning on doing on Shavano? The Angel? I was thinking about doing Sherman from Iowa Gulch, I haven't cancelled my plans yet, I was thinking Leadville area didn't get too much.

Yeah, we were going to ski the Angel. Should've done it in March. When are you planning on doing Sherman?

    A shot from 3-31 :

The angel's looking a little weak. Did it last year around May and it looked about the same as the picture above.

Skip the angel and do the lines to the looker's left.

What's that a picture gain, is that the angel? That angle of the angel doesn't look familiar.

We're planning on trying it tommorow, probably leaving around 4 am or so and driving up there to check it out. If there's not too much new snow there, we'll head up. If there's too much snow we'll probably just tour the valley or go to New Mexico or something like that.

Looks like an anorexic alien. Do you think that the southern Sawatch got a lot of snow from this storm? Are you basing that on the Monarch Pass totals?

Yeah, 15-17" at Monarch Pass, and 10" in the valley floor in Buena Vista.

Well, we were going to ride up the Poudre, didn't get quite as much snow in te lower elevations, up my way. However, due to possible circumstances, we've decided to postpone the mountain biking so I can try and find some snow. Sounds like A-Basin is getting skunked again, so I think I might try and ski something in the Indian Peaks. I don't know if they've gotten anything, but seeing as how the storm is hitting everything east of the divide, I might have a pretty good shot. Also I've never skied down there, so I don't know where any skintracks are, but I'm doing my homework today.

Farmer, I don't think A-B tomorrow is going to be anything worth writing home about, but give me a call tonight anyways. I've been itching to get my LBF's out in the backcountry at least one more time this year, but since I have exactly $43 to my name I will not be going to Silverton. oh well. Are you going to loveland tomorrow with everyone else?
Not on here much anymore. Drop me an email if you want to contact me. Have a wonderful winter!

If you need some indian peak beta send me a PM. I got a bunch of fun routes for ya. Avy danger up there may be a little high if they got the snow that was predicted.
