    where should I ski?

I don't live in the US but I'm going for january /feb. and I really want to take advantage of the ski season...I found this blog about google's top rated :

    http://tripcart.typepad.com/tripcart...t-rated-s.html

is it reliable? where should I buy my ticket to?
    please help!

That list has to do with Google searches over a 12-mo. period. Nothing relevant to what the "best" resorts are. There are some great resorts near the top of the list, but then there are some very suspect ones too. (ie., Blue Mtn & Snowshoe)

Everyone knows that Google is really just an advertising company. The more a company pays, the higher their rank in Google. If a ski area can afford to pay more to be a higher rank in Google, they are too crowded and you'll be standing in line more than making turns. What you want to do just pick a date, fly to Florida because they rent cars mad cheap there, and then drive around asking people where to ride. The locals know better than Google which mountains are good and when it will snow, they will point you in the right direction. Basically just drive around and ask.

now if you want to hook up with American girls, dude you GOT to have a Zebracorn Tshirt. Women LOVE Zebracorns. Print this out, have it put on a tshirt and you'll be getting some!

god I hope this isn't just a troll. feels all trolly.....but I can always hope.

    Fab -

Do you already ski? What are you looking for in a resort? Sick steeps or groomed cruisers? Low key base or mega village? High speed express galore or laid back small hill?

That list is pretty meaningless with out criteria.

ohhhhh....then you want unicorns fighting and wizards and shit. wear this tshirt at Miami International airport, ask the locals where to ride and where the snow is and you'll be a-jong-set.

    how late can you book-
Can you afford to drive around looking for storms
Can you go to both coasts? (as we have mountains in the west and east)
Do you want to stay at one resort the whole time?

Don't mind people calling you a jong. It just means that you have to post naked pictures of yourself or a female friend/sibling.

No really- you need to give more information about length of trip, desire to travel around while here and what you want- (-party, powder, moon boots, weed...etc) before anybody can give you help.

Shut your eyes and think of somewhere. Somewhere cold and caked with snow.

here in the States.. girls always need girls. go with it, it's encouraged.

    There's a few general recommendations:
Utah is always a good spot, fly into SLC and you are 30mins from some damn good powder. Ullr-willing.
Tahoe could work. Squaw, Kirkwood, Boreal(hehe). Storms in January are normally size.
Jackson Hole .. well it's Jackson.
CO .. plenty of choices there.

but like the other mags said .. what's yo' pleasure?

    .
    thanks

I have enough time (2 months), and I can pick either east or west coast. My main concern is skiing, as I'll go along with my best friend, so we don't need to meet anyone or be around somewhere.
I'd rather pick one coast, and stay there, plan the rest of my trip from the skiing point,
and not necessarily stay in the same resort, 2 months is a long time and as I said I'll move from there, just have to pick the starting point.
Drive around..my pal might do it, I'd rather settle down and train as much as I can

WTF? A chick comes along and asks "where should I ski" and the board melts into collective chivalry. If a bloke came along and asked such a stupid question the Jong word would fly, most likely prefixed by "Search Function" and post fixed by "now STFU!"

It stinks of sexual discrimination with a hint of blokes wanting to get their leg over in cyber space, put simply it's obvious and is not fair.....

    ...... I approve.

Sugarbush is an all womens ski resort. (Hence the name.) It is where any new women coming to America are required to ski:
