    I shit you not!
    I got out of my car on the North Shore. Walked out on Sunset and first person I see, but "Turtle" from "The North Shore". Talked to him for a minute. How awesome is that?

    Sweet. I met Turtle and Long Duc Dong out at the bars after the US Open in Huntington like 8 or ten years ago. I was smashed and spewed every line Turtle had from North Shore and Tombstone (he played one of the bad guys and says to Wyatt Earp "I'll fight you right now" - Kurt Russell immediately pistol whips him).

    He was not amused. I thought it was a hoot at the time but surmised later that I was probably being an incredibly obnoxious douche. I hate when that happens.
    I should want to cook him a simple meal, but I shouldn't want to cut into him, to tear the flesh, to wear the flesh, to be born unto new worlds where his flesh becomes my key.

    The Turtle character was based on Mark Wahlberg's real-life assistant, 39-year-old Donnie "Donkey" Carroll. Donkey carried Wahlberg's bags for more than 14 years while trying to launch a career as a rap musician under the name Murda One. Donkey died suddenly on December 18, 2005 of an asthma attack. Donkey and Wahlberg had a dispute earlier in 2005 because Carroll claimed Wahlberg never paid him for appropriating his life story for Entourage. He said all the other real-life characters had been taken care of but that he'd been cut out.
