TR Mar 27 -April 4, Rogers Pass, Whitewater

This is way overdue, but just got picts organized so figured I would post them. Basically an amazing time. Got about 20cm's the night I arrived and had great pow at Whitewater. Then after a few days went to Rogers Pass and stayed at the Wheeler Hut for a few nights. Long awesome tours to the Dome, and Lookout Col with fresh snow were had. Snowed about another 20cm's one day while we were up there. Amazing terrain, but probably even more amazing Avi slide paths into each canyon.

Skied with some rippin Japanese skiers. One of our hosts in Nelson, was 2nd in this years women's Tele contest. Locals were calling them to the "too much fun crew" because of the amount of hooting and hollering. They were always stoked.

My homemade risers on the SD's worked well and are still going strong.

No action picts as they are getting developed so these are just digi's of the amazing scenery.

Small Avi, only 10-20cm's crown, very slow moving.

Our last day at Whiteware. Skied the Dogleg I think its called. The first chute lookers right of the summit.

The 2nd to last day of the season at Red Mountain. These guys were classic. They hauled a bbq and beers to the top of the mountain.

Looks like a Summit with the current crew in 30 or so years.

Those guys are definitely a shoe in for the KIR files, Kokanee, and a barbie, what else do you need?

    Edit:

Throw some of those in the Tracks thread too, Comish. Cool Pics, really like the track woth the guy heading into the sun.

Those pics make me wanna pack up and move to Nelson or Revelstoke. Who knows, if there's a draft, I just might. Great stoke, can't wait for the action shots.
