Yesterday was fun....until I slipped on some ice and wrecked my knee.

This is not looking good folks and I will be SO upset if I can't ski for a while or the rest of the season.

Will see my ortho next week as soon as I can cause I can't even walk normal at this point. Pretty sure I tore something when I fell, so lame.

Have fun out there this weekend, I will be icing and taking lots of IB.

Exactly what I'm saying to myself. I'm pretty sure I know when it happened during the fall and sliding down the groomer, so at least I know how it happened or something like that. I've been working my ass off in the gym and out on my bike to be ready for this season!

Here's to hoping it's just a bad hyperextension, but I know these feelings in my knee and they aren't feeling awesome.

    Now go skiing everyone!

Edit: and I normally just ignore the tweaks and the bad feelings I get in my knees, but this is so different, so not normal.

Seriously WTF? I ganked my knee last year but I've been steadfastly ignoring it, seems to work

Oh no! ++++++++++VIBES++++++++++, AC. That is really bad news. I will be thinking of you.

If it's any consolation, today at The Canyons was NOT great. ...Gaper city...mountain Ops groomed the shit out of the ribbon, and the ropes were being patrolled. ...The first few laps were fun, but by 10:30, the lift line was 30 mins.

...Definitely, not a fat BRO day

AC-NOOOOOOOO! Hope it is just one of those twisty, sprainy, type things that get better with ice, a little rest, a few 'profins and a little whiskey! Good vibes sent!

Today, Shmoesmith, myself, and a non-maggot hit up snowbird.
And I got to try my new to me Bros.

We got some good pow shots, and there were some spots we ducked into that were pretty gnar.

IT probably goes without saying, but Bro's KICK ASS!!!!

Knee is feeling better today after lots of RICE. I'd bet anyone lots of money it's some torn meniscus...I've been through this before and I should be back skiing in a very short while if all goes well!

    Sounds good.

My knee swelled a little yesterday and feels a little crunchy today, prolly due to the swelling. I guess that's par for the course since it had it's third surgery this summer. Still functional so I'm gonna ignore it till it becomes otherwise.

    Hopefully yours is the same.

    Good luck.
