Have you ever owned a bike with a dc fork?

Just wondering because most people with that concern haven't.

You can turn pretty damn far before getting interference. If you get that far, you're going ssslllloooooowwwww

So just manual and bring that bitch around.

No, I've just had a hard time pedaling it around the shop, where you have to maneuver slowly through the displays.
All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

Heh. I was talking about the SL with a local shop monkey who said he was going to get one and take the DC off and replace it with a single crown because he wanted to ride up trail x and thought the DC would get in the way. Keep in mind he didn't even own the bike yet.

I just stood there blinking while thinking "You mean the trail I just rode a few minutes ago...with my 888...which didn't get in the way?" A few moments later I was wishing I said that out loud as he proceeded to talk down to me extensively. And they wonder why I don't spend money in that shop anymore... As we were walking out, my friend (who's never owned a DC) turns to me and says, "WTF was that guy talking about?"

Anyway, I wouldn't worry about it. It's never been a problem for me. Then again...I suck.
