Northwest trip

Well i'm planning a trip to the nothwest(Oregon-Washington-BC) for next february and i was wondering what the best and cheapest places to go are,because i'm really broke.I can't postpone the trip cuz i'm gonna fly to the US for free with my skymiles and these are gonna expire in June.
I know that possible destination would be Mt Baker and Crystal Mountain.
Oh yeah and i'll have to rent skis.....but like decent ones,not the rental crap(what i mean is something i can have fun on....that is to say 100+ mm!!)...
So what i need is a cheap accommodation,cheap rentals and a cheap pass
For some days i'll be in Seattle too....any motel/hostel/car rental suggestions??

Some Hostels in Seattle -
At Crystal - Alpine inn is best option or - hit the Parking lot (lots of RVs)
