4frnt deadbolt 1018 - anyone know about this

I'm looking into buying a pair of 4frnt vct skis from someone and they are mounted with a pair of yellow 4frnt deadbolt 1018 bindings. As far as i know they only make an 816. He says its a team edition binding. anyone ever heard of this binding existing or know anything about it?

not really a team edition, but very hard to get. sterbenz told me about them last year, trying to get me to buy them. they also have a 1020.

its a regular production binding only available for pro forms, shop forms, and sponsored skiers. keep 'em.

yes i am aware that they are essentially vist bindings, but i've never heard of or seen a 1018. so i wanted to know if this binding actually exists. naedward81 told me what i was looking for. I just wanted to know how this person came across these particular bindings.

There was an old thread where you described what changes 4FRNT made from the old VIST/Nordica design, on the deadbolts. I think it had to do with beefing up the spring housing and adding a vertical lock-out. I have no idea if VIST incorporated these changes into their new designs, though.

Edit: if you don't know, the OP can always PM Rontele. He IS the VIST rep...don't know why I didn't think of it earlier.
