    Solly Brake bending q

    searched and could not find
    bindings- s900s and 916's
so I am having problems getting the brake assembly onto the bindings, due to the metal plate on the base of the brake assembly repeatedly popping off and those two little metal tacks coming out. how do i get my brake onto the bindings so i can bend them?

    jong me all you wish

Some of the baseplates don't fit different models without some plastic grinding.

Other than that, it's kind of like anything else with a male part and a female opening. You just stick it in. Once that is taken care, just screw it on.

Unless of course your male part is bent...like if you tried to screw without making sure the tab is in the hole correctly. That can give you issues.

I'm in Burlington. PM me if you need a hand. Just did this process to two different skis last week.

Did you figure it out? I was wondering about this too. The surface of the ski pushes back the brake arms while you try to screw in the brake base plate, which causes the spring to pop out the metal plate on the bottom. Then the spring won't compress enough to let you push the plate down far enough for the screw to catch.

Right now I just have wide arms swapped in from a buddies bindings as a temporary fix, but sooner or later he's going to want those back...
