Pretty fucking casual attitude considering.
Skiing, where my mind is even if my body isn't.
The vid only gets to right when he lands and sets off the slide....anyone else having that problem?
- edit - nevermind, just gotta be patient

Nope. I watched the whole thing. It was pretty gnar-gnar!
I thought it would be worse though.

Whole vid worked for me, scary shite - catch the look on buddy's face just before it hit them.

What's amazing to is the footage from the heli, the release was hure, and so many points, that slope was heavy loaded.

I know the guys that were there sledding and filming so I already knew the story, but the footage actually makes it scarier. Once the sledders that rode past them and started hi-marking those guys knew to get out of there, maybe a couple were more casual than others, but thank fuck they got out ok.
Too bad about the guy from Alberta not having a tranceiver, but he could have easily killed all those guys, not just himself.
It's true........there IS a moron born every minute.
shit its sad he died , but what the hell was the guy thinking... hmm let see a fresh slide, a bunch of people parked in the avie zone, hey lets hit that loaded slope and see what happens..

He wasn't thinking, a lot of the redneck sledders have no knowledge and wouldn't have a clue what a loaded slope is. If you are experienced backcountry skier or snowboarder, you learn how to travel safely and take that over to your sledding.
I have seen so many stupid moves by sledders, that put other peoples lives at risk.
whoa, thats crazy....im a little fuzzy on what actually happened, a second avy?
also please excuse my EC stupidity but what is a loaded slope, one that has already slid?
^^^ Bump, just because it is the stupidest thing I've seen for a while.
Highmarking - seeing how far up a bowl/slope you can ride your snowmobile
Loaded slope - one whereby the snow accumulations could easily trigger a slide
