Nope. I watched the whole thing. It was pretty gnar-gnar!
I thought it would be worse though.

What's amazing to is the footage from the heli, the release was hure, and so many points, that slope was heavy loaded.

I know the guys that were there sledding and filming so I already knew the story, but the footage actually makes it scarier. Once the sledders that rode past them and started hi-marking those guys knew to get out of there, maybe a couple were more casual than others, but thank fuck they got out ok.
Too bad about the guy from Alberta not having a tranceiver, but he could have easily killed all those guys, not just himself.

He wasn't thinking, a lot of the redneck sledders have no knowledge and wouldn't have a clue what a loaded slope is. If you are experienced backcountry skier or snowboarder, you learn how to travel safely and take that over to your sledding.
I have seen so many stupid moves by sledders, that put other peoples lives at risk.

Highmarking - seeing how far up a bowl/slope you can ride your snowmobile

Loaded slope - one whereby the snow accumulations could easily trigger a slide
