Will I ever get my Katanas

Just wondering if anyone has recieved there Katanas in a 190 from Volkl yet.
I ordered a pair through volkl at the end of August and still have not recieved my skis. They say they are still coming but Im starting to loose faith. Just wondering if anyone has had luck with Katanas ordered through volkl. I have a pair of dukes just begging to be mounted.

Haven't seen any 190s... But a bunch of 183s and a few 197s.

I've seen them in a couple shops, heard its real hard to get proform on them right now because all the warehouses are out of them. I gave up getting them from Volkl and had a friend who works at backcountry.com get them for me

our shop can't get any more. volkl has been a real douche to ship anything this year. that being said we got our shipment. It took a while just to get those,,, 2 months late

I saw them a while a ago at the lift house by the BCC entrance. They had the 97, 90 & 83 3-4 weeks ago when I got new liners for my boots. Those skis look fun in the 197 & 190 size.

i'm in the same boat, waiting for my 190s on form order.

has anybody called to check in on status? i hear this is the way with volkl (late pro-form orders) which is a bummer.

I picked up a pair of 190s from Christy Sports early on this season because my prospect of getting 190s (or 197s) was "icksnayed" by Volkl early in September. They somehow had two pairs of 190s (and yes, the other pair has already sold). I'm not happy with the price, but desperate times...

I know Christy Sports ordered a few more Katanas in shorter lengths (187s, 176s) but was turned down for more 190s in October. I'm guessing that if you placed your order before the end of September, you may still have a chance. Who knows Volkl may surprise.

As for me, I’m just waiting for some snow. Colorado is dry as a bone; there’s no way I’m going to break these in on man made snow.

I was shot down by Vokl for my 197's. I thought this would be a good ski to match with some duke binders. Volkl always seems to under produce the good skis. Better order the 08/09 katana's now. Next month will be too late.

i just heard my 190s are shipping tomorrow or the next day. hope this is true.

Well my Katanas finally arrive today. over three months after I ordered them. I probably would not have used them anyways this early. They are better looking skis in person then in pics.
