Cool 23 regular days left PLUS an additional 7 weekend days!

Boys and girls, this is the time of year when the Bird pass really pays off (and if you don't have a season pass, the Bird's got plenty of specials going on right now to help lower the price).

All the rest of the Utah resorts are closed or are closing within the next couple days. The Bird is now down to the final six-and-a-half weeks of the season. Time to get out and enjoy some spring skiing fun!

Aren't they still at $57 through the end of the weekend? I'll be skinning D.V. tomorrow, Alta Sunday and then the bird once it gets cheap with a pass from other utah resorts.

    Hey Ski Monkey,

I have two tram passes that I may offer-up if Mrs. Gadget doesn't put them to good use soooon.

Last year day tickets ramped down toward $25/day as May apporached. For those who did not have a pass and drove up on May 12 (Saturday) 2003 to sample the really deep May powder- can't help but say that they got the best pow-dollar value ever! Having the A/B pass is the way to go if yer in Oootah. (or anywhere else for that matter).

Dammit, I wish some of the WA hills would get their act together and follow suit by spinning the lifts on weekends (uhhh, baker, hello?). I'm gonna miss that 'Bird pass this spring- those are some of the funnest turns of the year. Great move by mgmt when they start putting in forest service access gates as they decrease the 'patrollable' terrain to allow you to access everything via tram as backcountry. May 12 was crazy last year!
So many sickos, deep lines, big hucks, felt like March.

We had a great time this morning. There were 14 or 15 of us at one point. I don't think anyone paid more than 28 bucks!
The Bird is really aggressive with their promos this year. I like it.
-If you have a season pass from anywhere in the country you get in for 1/2 price (Spanky used his Jersey pass for 1/2 price).
-If you have a Bird pass you can get a friend in for 1/2 price.
-Also, if you buy next year's pass now, you get a couple of this season's day passes thrown in for good measure.

    Pretty cool. http://tetongravity.com/ubb/icons/icon6.gif

Then you'll be stuck at Hood shooting photos in the park. Poor baby.
