brief photo TR: a few from Stowe 11-17-2007

Despite the fact that we were late to the start, the snow was so shockingly good that it was all worthwhile. Please-don't-rain-please-don't-rain-please-don't-rain.

note to self #1: Hiking on a powder day with 8 people can be an exercise in frustration.

note to self #2: Skiing with eight friends can make anything more fun.

    Where am I?

    Misery train:

    random dude shreds it:

The number of telemarkers who did not bring skins that day was hilarious.

I just wanted to roll around in it.

    Weeeee!

Tell me about it. Skiing with telemark + bootpacking skinable snow = the worst of both worlds? Good times, though.

Who even knew you could still find ski gees, Stowe looking nice makes me happy in the pants.
You're gonna stand there, owning a fireworks stand, and tell me you don't have no whistling bungholes, no spleen spliters, whisker biscuits, honkey lighters, hoosker doos, hoosker donts, cherry bombs, nipsy daisers, with or without the scooter stick, or one single whistling kitty chaser?

Ski-gee represent. Those things are totally key for any near freezing level precipitation. They have saved me from skiing into immobile objects multiple times

Stowe did not suck today! 4-5" of fresh fell from about 6:30-9:30. Sun. + Mon. were pretty damn good too. I'll be up again tomorrow, 08 goats w/ jesters, blue jacket, hudge grin on face.
    Nice pics!!!
