    Crystal Conditions Update...

Answers to all your Crystal condition questions...

It rained and it rained and it rained. Lifts made it less wet. Thanks for the ride!

2/3 up Rex was freezing level where it was actually snowing.

    Green Valley...

Once in GV, just fake sun breaks, snow, whiteout and repeat in any order. Felt like pow for first few turns then cream for the rest. Buddies said it rained top to bottom with 8k freezing levels yesterday. Good day for beers in the shack between turns while waiting for the weather to break. Saw a glimpse of Powder Bowls western edge and it appeared to be littered with debris.

    Tracks...

Only sane way down was cat track on the frontside. Maybe Lucky Shot but that's a maybe. Of piste was slow motion and sticky icky. Took the line under Quicksilver down cause it had the most snow. Couple of grass rides and puddle skims but can ride down to 5 minutes of the parking lot. Sure beats walking.

    My car took a shit.

Crystal needs some help or else head north or east or both.

I'm gonna take it out on my liver tonight.

    That first rock's a doozy.

Thanks for the update. I've got some skiing to do up there this season.

Didn't see you at TGR - perhaps your liver was done before you had a chance to get there? Or perhaps you decided that Greenwater was a better venue for it? Or perhaps I just couldn't make you out of the crowd? In any case I definitely took the opportunity to take the shitty cold rainy pre-season suck of Crystal's current conditions out on my liver at Neumo's last night.

It was a pleasure joining you and your friend for your post-ski tailgating party - thanks again for the Guinness and chips! Perhaps I'll see you guys around again ... preferably with more snow on the ground.

Kya, I did make it to the show. It was packed and the music was bumping so loud I couldn't see straight. Or maybe that was the booze taking over. My liver was punching me while I was touring Baker the next day.

To whomever was in front of us and emitting the nerve gas...here's a big FU! Put a cork in it. Or a gerbel. Dead, rotting animals smell better.
