Seattle Mags: SnowBash at the Tractor on Saturday

A group I volunteer with, the Friends of the Northwest Avalanche Center, is holding it's annual fundraiser/charity auction/bring in the season party for the Northwest Avalanche Center this Saturday night at the Tractor in Ballard. Music provided by the Tallboys, drunken swivley dancin' provided by a bunch of telemarkers. Tickets are here. Come one come all, should be a great time and a great cause. AND there is a TON of gear being raffled and auctioned and if it's anything like prior years, things usually go for well under retail. PM me if you have any questions.

Is Tallboys a country twang band? I'm ALL for supporting the NWAC, but feel kinda tweaky/agitated around country music for some odd reason.

The link should go to some example music...click on it and see if it makes you tweaky. If it does, I totally understand.

By the way, entry is $20 until Saturday at the link above ($25 at the door) and includes 2 beers, membership to the Friends of the Avalanche Center for a year, and a three-issue subscription to Backcountry (just for SnowBash attendees)...
