Finally out on DVD, where it belongs, because it's friggin 15+ hours. If you're a Sopranos fan, this was a great influence in form and content. Originally a long series on German TV, directed by the great Fassbinder, who seems to have fallen off the end of the Earth as far as the critics are concerned after his death at 37 some time ago. If you've never seen any of his stuff, you may want to start out with something normal size, like "Mother Kusters goes to Heaven", or "Chinese Roulette".
