Just ordered some new gloves

I was ordering some Christmas presents for some family members and needed about 8 bucks on my order to push me into the free shipping threshold, so I threw in a pair of these:

Do you like them? I figured for 9 bucks, what the hell. I also have some uber warm neoprene gauntlet gloves that go almost to my elbow (intended for duck hunting) but no fold back fingers. They are kind of a pain to take on and off when you need to tie on a fly.

Yeah so far so good, they seem to be pretty well made. The velcro for the foldback fingers doesn't work so well but the fingertips stay out of the way well enough on their own when you are tying knots and such.

UPDATE/REVIEW:

After using these gloves three times in COLD conditions...

Warmth - good.
They kept my hands relatively warm while fishing in 30 degree air temps and water in the upper 30 to low 40 degree range. Not great warmth, but good.

Maneuverability - fair.
I don't really like to fish with gloves on, unless I absolutely NEED them. It is difficult to feel the line through them and you often have to look down to see what you are grabbing at (can't just go on feel alone). Only the thumb and first two fingers have fold-back to fingerless mode, which is all you need, however when you fold back the flaps to the Velcro tabs, they don't always stay stuck and the fingers hang up on the line alot. Even when they do stay stuck, they stick up enough to get hung up in your line. Over all, they work better if you just keep the fingers on.

Over all, I'm happy with them. As I said, I prefer not to fish with gloves on anyway, but when needed, they do the job. I like them and will continue to use them. I bet over time I will get more used to them and they will soften up a bit as well.

I'll report back on durability as the season goes on.
