    Auto GPS units?

    Anyone have any experience with these, I was thinking of picking up one for my wife. Looking for recomendations for good bang for the buck models

    I got the Magellan AAA edition off of craigslist and love it... My roomate scored the Garmin Nuvi (cheapest one) off of craigslist as well... we both paid $150 or so.... As far as I can tell (and I dont know much about this, so take it for what is worth) they both are similar in that they acquire satellites in about a minute or so and do a great job of allowing me to leave on trips without consulting a map of any sorts.

    And make sure that you heed the little warning about using them when you drive. A friend of mine nearly got us t-boned on the first day he had it, when we were navigating around our own neighborhood.
