Yeah powdherb, I thought you avoided joining the moron ranks by only posting "high quality TR's." Glad you got off your high horse to sling some mud.

    The sign of a Gaper.

    From Astrology.Com:

The sign of the Gaper will move into the house of Venus on Midday Nov 16th.
While Mars is in retro-grade you can expect longer lift lines on the 17th.

Jupiter's moons will be spending time in the house of Scorpio. Meaning some dust on crust can be found in the Parks next week.
Meanwhile my moon will be spending time in the House of Pancakes.

I have lived in mountains for years and I have yet to live in a place that it any type of freaking out has actually been justified. Take a step back and look at what you have. (And this excludes people on the east coast, because your winters really do suck) The skiing in the West of the US/Canada is some of the most consistant and plentiful snowfall in the world. Get over it. It will snow.

Anyone who actually knows anything about anything knows that they will have a spot that is always good. And no, it doesn't matter where you are. There's pow over there.
I guess this is my first year of non gaperism than, because i am yet to trip. anyways, lets go to revy this weekend. call if your are down.

Hi Powdherb! I must take friendly exception to this comment. Real die-hard skiers know that the Northeast is the most consistantly 'core on the continent, and that the BEST skiers all come out of here. We have FOUR resorts open today, what are you skiing on? I suggest you come for a visit to our friendly northeast-focused forums at http://forums.alpinezone.com/ - you won't regret it. Just walk slowly towards the light and c'mon over!

My friends and I have a game we play with alpinezone--its called see who can get through the most posts without falling asleep from boredom. Unfortunately, we all always lose. But if you want to know the benefits of skiers edge and how awesome the bumps at sundown, CT are, by all means walk towards the light.

how about when the owner puts up those lame ass videos?

That place puts the "G" in Gaper. Really reflects badly on eastcoast skiing too. Alpinezone is a fuckin' trainwreck.

This time in November two years ago.

    And last year.

More snow both years, but not by much.

yes - look at me skiing a "bump" run with a 5 to 10 degree pitch. woo hoo. he was pratically standing still. maybe it got better, I could only watch the first few minutes, but being it was in CT, i highly doubt it.

What a stupid assumtion. Lots of us are tripping simply because we want to be skiing. BAD! This doesn't make us gapers or give some douchenozzle the right to proclaim anyone a gaper. The last few seasons have started pretty early here in CO. I miss that, end of story.
