    FS: ABS pack

I've got an ABS pack that I bought from mntlion last year. I've never used it - passing it on for the same price - $350. One full cartridge & one empty included.

No PMs - please reply in this thread.

    Cheers,
    -PP

Soo tempting to get one for my wife. Someone buy it before I do, please. I love mine, fits well, super comfy and scares the bejesus out of people when you accidentally trigger it (although mine's a different model).

I'm guessing that it's the model prior to the escape -they look similar, but it says Pro Line on mine. Maybe mntlion knows more details...
Regarding size; I think these packs come in only one size, i.e. "one size fits most".

2nd dibs if txsviking doesn't want it.
I need to be quick to know though as will be in Florida for a few days 14-17 Nov and would want it sent to the hotel. Obviously I'll pay extra for the speedy shipping if that is needed.
Pay-Pal is poised and ready to go if it works out.

packs should fit most body sizes, They where a bit big on skibee so that is good for a gorilla on the other end of the size scale....

You might want to look into the flying with Dangerous Goods thing if you get it.

Yep, I knew that, but than's for mentioning that anyway.
If I get it I'm going to have to ask PowderPig to dischage it, and then I will have to get refills in the mountains where it will get left.

If I get it. Hope I do but I am 2nd in line so.....??

Expect to pay ~50€ per refill. Not cheap.

FYI: I just mailed the packs to everyone, I didn't tell about the canisters, no one asked, they all arrived OK.

The less said about that the better. I was too scared to mail my whole pack and full canisters to myself when I travelled to Europe last winter after reading the whole declaration of dangerous goods thing at the post office.

This thread made me read up on the ABS website again. The new Vario line of packs looks sweet. The prices, not so much. If this guy would drop his RRP in half, he'd more than double his sales. In fact, I reckon he'd sell as many as beacons do. 700€ + minimum 70€ is too much. ~350€ and a hell of a lot of backcountry travelers would have them, especially the Vario line.
