Okay, let's play the what-if game..its fun to play pretend.

So lets say some random philanthropist walks up to you and says he will give you and one other person a one month ALL expenses paid trip to ANYWHERE you want to go. Where do you go?

For me, since basically it is having the brass ring in your hand, I would go for someplace way out of the way.

It would come down to either Mongolia, Greenland, or Russia. Wild places in all three. Great adventure abounds, skiing/kayaking/trekking, and amazing local culture in all three. It would be a hard choice...

But if it was all expenses paid, I would have to throw down for a month travelling around Russia. I've spent time in the Kamchadal and Kamchatka regions and want to go back. And there are other amazing parts of that country, which is a freaking cool ass country.

So how about the rest of you?
